To all my lovely pro-choice followers, I have a sincere request.
I am participating in this year’s National Abortion Access Bowl-a-thon. It’s a series of local events that aim to fundraise to make reproductive rights a reality for women who can’t afford to pay for an abortion. As you probably know, it can take a lot to get an abortion and the ability to pay for the procedure (which can cost up to five figures) can be debilitating and often downright impossible. Also, more and more states are becoming hostile to abortion rights, making abortion increasingly inaccessible to those who need it. That’s why I am bowling for the New York Abortion Access Fund, which helps to ensure that women from NY and other states, have access to safe abortion regardless of their income or insurance status.
